London International Awards + Transatlantic Present: Ocean's 18 - Season 3 - Featuring the 2024 LIA Jury Presidents

The third season of Ocean's 18, the spin-off of TRANSATLANTIC at London International Awards, has set sail for the desert lands of Nevada and will be docking at Encore @ Wynn in Las Vegas, from 29th September through 7th October. Through The Seven Seas Interviews, Simone Nobili will cross the oceans of 18 LIA Jury Presidents, reaching unknown lands and uncovering hidden treasures of personal stories. Episodes will be video taped live in Las Vegas during LIA judging and will be streamed on the Transatlantic YouTube channel and the London International Awards channel, with releases throughout the year in the LIA Insider and the Transatlantic LinkedIn page. Grab a nautical map and come aboard the mothership—Vegas has never been so oceanic.

London International Awards jury presidents to be featured in podcast ‘Oceans 15’

“Transatlantic,” the video podcast with a lot of water in it, created and hosted by Simone Nobili (Global Group Creative Director at Wunderman Thompson NY) is landing in Vegas for the 2022 London International Awards (LIA) festival. Simone crossed some of the biggest oceans in the industry in 2021. He’s now ready to cross the waters of the Jury Presidents of the LIA Awards show.
This special edition will be broadcast live at Encore/Wynn, Las Vegas, from September 30 to October 05, running concurrently with LIA judging. In a room where red will be the dominant color and casino chips will be scattered across a coffee table, Simone will use “The 7 Seas Interview” format to dive deep into the lives and work of his guests, bringing to the surface undiscovered stories.

On the night of May 13th in London, 40 rejected drawings that I plucked out of the trash in my Los Angeles office were recognized among other amazing pieces of work. I collaborated with Netflix Italian director Sebastiano Facco on a short film about the drama of life in quarantine in Italy, called “Voices of Lockdown”. Our intent was to uncover the untold stories from the Italian lockdown, since the world has only been exposed to the cheerful singing of Italians from their balconies. Campaign US wrote a heartfelt article on our work and how it was conceived.

in 2017, while freelancing for the LinkedIn Creative Studio, I thought that the best way to visualize the moonshot that each of us take on a daily basis on the platform, was to have a talented young girl - whose heart was filled with trailblazing dreams - sing “Fly Me To The Moon”. Angelina Jordan was only 11-years-old at the time but her talent was unquestionably timeless (and it still is). In the end, I didn’t want to create just an ad, but gift the LinkedIn audience with a song to listen to while reminding them that your profile can take you anywhere.
